This Is Glamorous is a beautiful digital publication launched by Roséline Lohr in the summer of 2007. It quickly gained a loyal following and the attention of traditional print magazine editors and other digital publications for its uncompromising adherence to only the very best of the internets, sharing inspiration from across the worlds of décor, design, fashion, food, art, architecture, and travel. Just two years after launching, the site would become a successful full-time endeavour for its founder.
The winter of 2014 saw the launch of British luxury leather goods range, Belgrave Crescent.
TIG itself would re-launched in March of that same year, moving away from its original platform after a major redesign, which received many design accolades. The year also marked the publication’s permanent shift from blog to full-fledged digital publication and independent lifestyle media brand.
One month later, in April, the brand would announce the official launch of an online boutique and marketplace for emerging designers, artists and artisans from around the world.
Many of the very first readers from 2007 still remain with TIG today, which has grown into a community of cultured netizens and creative professionals, and has become an online resource of the brightest parts of today’s media landscape.
